A SAD FAREWELL
The trimmings and cards have been taken down.
The tree has lost her silvery gown.
Santa Claus has been so busy.
Bringing toys to town and city.
He has left behind happy girls and boys.
Now they can play and enjoy their toys.
Father Christmas has gone home to rest.
He'll be back next year looking his best.

A LITTLE TINKER
She's as fast as a greyhound.
And as crafty as a fox.
She likes to chew your shoes.
And she likes to chew your socks.
She's smooth as honey, sugar and spice.
And oh she is very nice.
She's a beautiful pup and she knows it too.
But she does cause a hustle.
But what do you expect from a little Jack Russell.
And as crafty as a fox.
She likes to chew your shoes.
And she likes to chew your socks.
She's smooth as honey, sugar and spice.
And oh she is very nice.
She's a beautiful pup and she knows it too.

PLAYFUL PETS
I've got a Jack Russell called Penny.
And a beautiful puss called Storm.
And when they meet each other.
There's such a carry on.
One side of me is meowing.
The other side a bark.
And when they get together.
It's just like Noah's Ark.
The noise they make don't bother me..
I'm used to it you see.
To watch them fill my heart with glee.
And when I turn round what do I see.
Four sparkling eyes staring up at me
What more could I want don't you agree.

A PRECIOUS STONE
I have a little precious stone.
She's my jewel in the crown.
And when she sits upon my knee.
I hate to put her down.
Now this little precious stone.
She means the world to me.
And she's perfect oh so perfect.
She suits me to a tee.
She's lovely and cuddly and full of fun and tricks.
And if she sees you sad.
She'll jump up and give you a lick.
Now she's brown and white with big brown eyes.
They shine so much like stars at night.
We often have a game of tussle.
But she's just Penny.
My little Jack Russell.
She's my jewel in the crown.
