DREAM
What do you dream about with that sweet little face.
As you sleep in your cot all draped in lace.
Is it the angels that watch all day long.
Or the Sandman that comes a dream and a song.
I thank God he gave you to me.
To love and cherish for eternity.
As you sleep in your cot all draped in lace.
Is it the angels that watch all day long.
Or the Sandman that comes a dream and a song.
I thank God he gave you to me.
To love and cherish for eternity.
IF I WERE A MILLIONAIRE
If I were a millionaire.
I'd build a castle in the air.
Where all pets could live together.
There would be no more hitting' kicking and starving.
Instead there would be more kissing.
And cuddles and more loving too
The rooms would be bright and airy.
and lots of things to do.
They would romp about so happily.
And play every day.
Oh what a lovely thought if it all came true.
I would like to see it happen wouldn't you,
I'd build a castle in the air.
I would like to see it happen wouldn't you,
MISSING YOU.
I miss you more each day my love.
You maybe watching from above.
I cherish your love so very much.
I miss the tenderness of your touch.
To hear your sweet voice again.
Will heal the sadness and the pain.
I've been so lonely since you passed away.
But I know we will meet again some day.
You maybe watching from above.
I cherish your love so very much.
I miss the tenderness of your touch.
To hear your sweet voice again.
Will heal the sadness and the pain.
I've been so lonely since you passed away.
But I know we will meet again some day.
THE FLOWER GARDEN
Pansies are blushing hear them say.
Please do not forget me knots today.
Hyacinth's are pretty all in bloom.
Bluebells are chiming a haunting tune.
Canterbury bells ring out so clear.
To tell us summer is almost here.
Dandelions and buttercups are starting to flirt.
Because they saw a bit of skirt.
Daffodils trumpet out the news.
To tell us crocus has the blues.
Daisies say we will make a chain.
For if the cowslips down again.
The bulrushes round when it sees the rose.
He's in love with her and oh it shows.

A RECIPE FOR LOVE
Take a little bit of tenderness.Spread happiness around.
Then lots of lovingness.
There's plenty to be found
Add a sprinkling of care.
Enough for all to share.
Add two loving hearts.
Intermingled into one.
Stir around with kisses.
Then bake til it's done.
Then lots of lovingness.
There's plenty to be found
Add a sprinkling of care.
Enough for all to share.
Add two loving hearts.
Intermingled into one.
Stir around with kisses.
Then bake til it's done.
A BABE IS BORN.
A babe was born on Christmas Morn.
The Baby Jesus Christ.
His mother watched him with such pride.
As he lay sleeping by her side.
As shepherds watched their flock by night.
They saw star that shone so bright.
Wise men bearing gifts of gold.
Believed the story they were told.
Peace to everyone on earth.
Then celebrate the Holy birth.

CHRISTMAS TIME
Christmas Time is here again.
With another load of ice and snow.
Christmas trees all aglow.
With pretty lights, baubles and bows.
Christmas cards adorn the wall.
Bringing good tidings to one and all.
Father Christmas is here to stay
To fill children's stockings for Christmas Day.
He comes along with his beard so white.
With his Christmas hat and bauble so bright
Children singing carols in the snow.
Singing oh so sweet and low.
Church bells ring out all over the world.
Calling all little boys and girls.
With another load of ice and snow.
Christmas trees all aglow.

JUST A MUCKY LITTLE PUP
Oh Penny you are a mucky pup.
You cause me so much hassle.
The things you do.
They sometimes have me baffled.
You steel so many different things.
And hide them up the stairs
Sometimes down the settee
And sometimes down the chairs.
The biscuits that we give you.
Are hidden anywhere.
In the garden you are a menace.
Of that you will never tire.
You roll in mud and roll in dirt.
Much to your desire.
You pinch the bread.
That's put out for the birds.
And bury it in one place.
You dig up the plants.
And dig up the trees.
That were just planted yesterday.
You stick your nose in a dirty pot.
And oh you look a mess
With your muddy nose. and muddy paws.
We couldn't love you less
You cause me so much hassle.
The things you do.
They sometimes have me baffled.
You steel so many different things.
And hide them up the stairs
Sometimes down the settee
And sometimes down the chairs.
